Massage License Renewal Requirements

16 Continuing Education hours (CE) must be completed to renew your massage license every 2 years

(8) CE hours can be completed online/(8) CE hours must be completed in a live/seminar

Students may not complete more than 12 continuing education hours in one calendar day

Iowa accepts NCBTMB approved CE courses for massage license renewal
From the Iowa Massage Board:
133.3(2) Specific criteria. A licensee shall obtain a minimum of 16 hours of continuing education credit every two years.
A minimum of 8 hours of the 16 hours must be hands-on training.
A maximum of 8 hours of the 16 hours may be independent study.
