Change in Indiana Massage Therapy License Renewal Requirements

Renewal By May 15, 2025

Please note that massage therapy laws change frequently and vary from state to state. Although we try to provide you with the most up to date requirements, ultimately it is the responsibility of the student to contact their state licensing board to verify massage license renewal requirements.

As of July 13, 2022, Indiana massage therapists are required to complete 18 hours of continuing education before the May 2025 renewal period.

As part of the 18 hours (all which can be taken online) 2 CE Hours must be in “Ethics” courses. 

After the 2025 renewal period, all therapists will be required to complete 24 CE Hours of Continuing Education within the 4 year renewal cycle.

Since Indiana accepts NCBTMB Approved Hours, all courses may be taken online with Massage CE Learning Tree
