Massage License Renewal Requirements

  • 18 Continuing Education hours (CE) must be completed to renew your massage license every 4 years

  • After the May 2025 renewal all students will be required to complete 24 CE within a 4 year renewal cycle.

  • All continuing education (CE hours) may be completed online

  • Students may not complete more than 12 continuing education hours in one calendar day

  • Mandatory course requirements: (2) CE “Ethics”

  • Accepts NCBTMB approved CE courses for massage license renewal. We are NCBTMB approved #450015-06

Upcoming Changes To Renewal Requirements

As of July 13, 2022 all licensed Massage Therapist will be required to complete 18 hours of Continuing Education before the May 2025 renewal. After that, they will be required to complete  a total of 24 hours of Continuing Education within the 4 year renewal cycle.
