Colorado Massage Continuing Education Requirements

Currently, we understand that Colorado does not require massage continuing education hours to renew their massage licenses, although students may be required to complete 24 hours of NCBTMB Continuing Education hours in order to renew expired or lapsed massage licenses. A student who is applying for a massage license in Colorado from a different state may also be required to complete 24 hours of continuing education. Once you’ve purchased, you will be directed back to your account where you will find your courses. Click on MY ACCOUNT
Scroll down to the first course and click the first lesson to begin
Read through the course materials and MARK COMPLETE at the bottom of each page to proceed through the course. The courses are “user friendly” and easy to complete.
Complete the final exam (you can review the final exam questions before you start the course and all important exam information is outlined in the course)
Passing grade is 70%
You’ll have 5 opportunities to take each quiz. If you fail on the 1st attempt review your answers before trying again.
Once you’ve completed your quiz, you’ll have the opportunity to download and save each certificate to your device. It is highly recommended to save each course certificate to your device since state boards randomly choose students to audit for proof of course completions and you will be required to send in a copy of your Certificates of Completion if you are randomly audited. Students can be audited at anytime, usually up to 24 months after license renewal.
Your account, courses and copies of your Certificates of Completion are only available for one year from the date of purchase. After one year, accounts are deleted from the system so students may repurchase and complete courses for a new renewal period.
Once you have completed a course, you should log out through MY ACCOUNT.
If you leave before completing a course, you may resume the course at any time by clicking the RESUME COURSE button.

You cannot use the same account or student email address to purchase for more than one student. You must LOG OUT COMPLETELY after your initial purchase and then create a new account using a different email address for the student profile login not used by another student.
