The human body is a complex and dynamic system composed of many different structures and functions. Therefore, a necessary and basic understanding of the human body’s anatomy and physiology is essential for massage therapists.
Anatomy, by definition, is simply the study of a living organism’s structure or its form. Physiology is the study of its function. Every living thing is made of one or more cells. Every organism in the human body starts with a single cell. That cell divides and multiplies. As this happens, functions and forms change.

The Massage Therapy Human Anatomy course will cover the follow system information, including form and function.

Common medical conditions shared by many clients which are related to each system will be mentioned with contraindications and approaches.

Course Information

You will have 5 opportunities to take the final exam to meet 70% passing grade.
The final exam questions are available for your review prior to the test. You may print/screenshot/take a photo of the questions so you have them available as you review the course. Write down your answers as you read through the course and then transfer them to the final exam.

Exam answers are multiple choice
Courses are pass/fail. No grades appear on your certification.

LOG OUT and/or LOG IN at any point during your studies to continue on with your courses.
Save each certificate as you complete the class. Your certificates and your account are available for one year

Materials

All course materials and Certificates of Completion are only available online. Each course exam consists of multiple choice questions and course exams are graded immediately. The student has multiple opportunities to retake each exam to meet the passing score. Once the student passes the exam with 70%, your Certificate of Completion is available to print or download and save to your device. According to individual state massage boards and NCBTMB, it is the responsibility of the student to save their Certificates of Completion for a minimum of 5 years. Your account, course materials and Certificates of Completion are only available for one year from date of purchase.
