While the term “domestic violence” might lead you to believe that all abuse or violence takes place inside a home, situations always affects other areas of a person’s life. Domestic violence and/or abuse is not only found in the home, but can be found in a person’s work environment, school, business, or social settings. Sexual assault of any form can occur anytime and anywhere.
Statistics from the National Domestic Violence Hotline provide a number of workplace statistics regarding domestic violence.
